Guardus G3
Watchman Tour System
Guardus G3's basic idea for guard
tour control is to affix the iButtons at the various sites the patrol
officer should check. The patrol officer then touchs each iButton with
Guardus; in doing so Guardus registers the identification of the iButton
which has been read, and also the date and time of the reading. Later the
information stored may be downloaded into a computer, where you can
generate comprehensive reports.
Guardus is powered by a 9 volt
battery, easily found in stores. It is the most widely recommended power
supply for electronic guard tour control, due to its life span (4-6
months) and low cost. The user himself may easily replace the battery; the
procedure is clearly expaned in the user's manual.
Guardus is manufactured with
extremely robust and rigid materials. Internally, the electronic
components are protected by a special resin, which accounts for the device
water and shock resistance. Guardus is also electric shock proof. An outer
rubber cover protects Guardus, comprising high standards of ergonomy,
which enables the user to handle Guardus comfortably.
