GeniusEye
iDVR RIO/PRO
The
iDVR RIO and PRO software versions take the already advanced features of
the iDVR system a step further. Unlike the Standard version of iDVR, the
RIO and PRO editions allow users to control cameras and modify settings
from a remote location through a web browser. The most notable differences
in these upgraded versions, however, are the sensor input and relayed
output features.
RIO:
GeniusEye iDVR RIO version is capable of handling anywhere from 1 to 16
Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) cameras or speed domes. Also, with RIO it is possible
for users to control the PTZ cameras from any remote location through a
web browser.
The
most prominent features of the RIO, as advertised, are the multiple
combinations of operations involving a digital input and a subsequent
digital output. For example, a sale at a cash register could be the input
that triggers an output such as recording an image or sending a message to
a fax machine or cellular phone. These sensor inputs can bemonitored and
their outputs modified from a remote location via a web browser.
PRO:
The GeniusEye Pro takes iDVR technology a step further by allowing yet
more control in visual management. Bearing all the added benefits of its
sister product, iDVR RIO, PRO improves on the digital input to digital
output feature by allowing message strings to be pasted onto recorded
images.
Using
our example from before where input from a cash register prompts a
snapshot to be taken, PRO will then paste a message string onto the image
listing, for example, the merchandise sold. With PRO, multiple users can
view live video feeds simultaneously via web browsers through iDVR PRO¡¦s
video broadcast server.
